First, I’d like to thank stephen for letting me put blogs on his site. it was awfully nice of him, considering he doesn’t know me. who am I? I’m Gregor swenz, i live in destin, florida, and i work for yardcrew. it’s kind of a lawn care service that does business all over the handle. i don’t have a picture of myself and i was kind of hesitant to put one up anyways, because i don’t know anyone here. my picture is something i did on a 5′ piece of canvas in high school, it’s a symbol of black power. i didn’t have it to easy in high school because, hell, i’m live in destin for christ’s sake and any folks of the same color are few and far between. i had a relatively light dose, but a does nontheless, of racism in Destin high, and that was the inspiration for the flag. if you ask me, destin is a squirming shithole filled with uselss wastes of humanity. it’s rare that i go through day without being irritated to the point of rage. no, i haven’t joined any black power movements or anything, but i have read a little on civil rights and it is of vague interest to me. are there any other black people who blog here? i’m interested in meeting all of you, i live a dull life down here. my friends are my co workers and i haven’t had any bitches since the last one keyed my car…so i guess what i’m trying to say is…what’s up?

you know, i think we may be even. being a practicing caucasion male, i feel the effects of racism every day. I scored a 28 on my act(and that was bad for me). I got a good GPA in high school. I got a measley 1600 a year scholarship to OSU, but my friend Jim, asian , of course, got a 23 on his act, has failed chemistry 121 twice, has gotten a minority scholarship to OSU and pays nothing. In fact, i could be more qualified than any said minority member competing with me for the same job, and he may very well get it because of a company’s fear of being sued for hate crimes. I dont like racists. But all this minority boo hooing is jsut stimulating all the hate. Honestly. There will never be any peace as long as one party has the upper hand in anything. So, i can enjoy no racism towards me, and have to bust my ass to go to college, while guys like you can get racist hatred and get full rides and jobs. Id say we are even.
Moral of the story? who knows, but i sound like a jackass!
