I do not know if any of you remember me talking about them, but I decided to give an update. They were living at my parents house for about 3 or 4 months. They got big really fast and we raised them on this special kind of feed that makes them even bigger than normal ducks. We didn’t do it on purpose, that was just the kind my dad got and they liked it. So anyway they are above-average size ducks now since we raised them from little ducklings. They are so pretty!! Backeroo is a mallard duck with a green head, and these purplish/blueish/greenish feathers in the back. (Depends on how you look at him) Robin thinks he is a male but we don’t know for sure. He is smaller than Chewy who is a white duck with a very pretty orange beak. I don’t know if Chewy is a boy or girl. But Chewy is the leader between them so I’m gonna go with female.
So about 3 or 4 weeks ago my mom, Chance, Bradley, (Chance’s friend) and K.C. took them to the park to live in that pond with the other ducks. (Pratt Park) Well….when they first got there it didn’t turn out so well because all of the other ducks came at them at once and tried to kill them by getting on them and pushing them under the water and when they came up the other ducks pecked the crap out of them until they went back under. Chewy and Backeroo were confused and were not winning because…1. They had never seen other ducks before that. 2. It was a new place with a huge pond that they didn’t know well yet. 3. There were a lot of damn ducks. 4. They just didn’t know what was going on.
My mom and the boys and K.C. started freaking out so they managed to get our ducks back (my mom said our ducks practically jumped in her arms because they wanted help so bad) and she took them to the side where it is just a little stream and let them out there. So they seemed to be okay after watching them for a while. She said that they just stayed in that spot. Well my dad went back the next day to check on them and he found them together in that same spot. So he figured they would be okay.
Well my mom went back the next weekend and she said they stayed in that spot mostly, but they occaisonally went out into the pond. If another duck came by they would quickly dodge it and go back to their little spot. The next weekend after that K.C. and i went to check on them and now they own that damn pond. I guess they realized that they are bigger than the other ducks, and now the others ducks swim away from them. I’m so proud of them. :)
So in conclusion my ducks are awesome. Oh and if you go to look at the ducks at the pond, Backeroo is the only mallard there and Chewy is the white duck right beside him. They always stay together. I don’t know if they are dating or if they are just best friends. We’ll see if they have little ducklings following them one day. I hope so.

I remember.
It is a very interesting story. You see, I’m not sure I would have had the courage to leave the ducks there on thier own for so long. Especially after such horrible beginning.
What’s up with all this space between paragraphs guys? Is this a standard?

I did it so it’s not one huge paragraph. I think that makes it harder to read if it is one big paragraph.

No no, maybe I am just noticing this, but there is a whole line of space between paragraphs. Like so:
Blah blah blahbla hblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblah blahblahblahbla hblahblahblahblah blahblahblahbl ahblahblah blahblah
This space here.
Blah blah blahbla hblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblah blahblahblahbla hblahblahblahblah blahblahblahbl ahblahblah blahblah
Instead of:
Blah blah blahbla hblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblah blahblahblahbla hblahblahblahblah blahblahblahbl ahblahblah blahblah
There is still paragraphs, but no space before. Blah blah blahbla hblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblah blahblahblahbla hblahblahblahblah blahblahblahbl ahblahblah blahblah

OK, I just IMed with Andrew and he thought the comment was a joke. Actually, I was being serious and did not mean it in a joke in any sense.
If you take a look at my latest entry, I still have paragraphs but only spaces to divide up subjects (and in special cases like the blockquote). So, I ask again, what’s up with all the spaceage?

Robin’s reason is: it just seems neater to me. I really don’t think about it. Of course, it would be a red flag when reading or writing something to turn in, but on WB! I just kind of did it because I liked the way it looked.
