I Bet You Think This Post is About You, Don’t You? Don’t you?

It’s your favorite ranter here again to try and drill in another message. (WARNING: Due to no one understanding my last post, read only if you have a competant and open mind.(and by open I mean a non selfish one.))

1. Many good things will come your way, you just need to take the time to cherish them. There are people that care for you. You just have to realize sometimes that people take other people for granted. When you know someone for a while you kind of take them for granted and don’t appreciate them the same as you had earlier. So I think it’s important to every once in a while go the extra mile for each other. Make them feel appreciated.

2. Also you have to realize that you make choices everyday. These choices we make all have consequences, for better or for worse. Sometimes things don’t go our way and we might think to blame someone else for our problems, but let’s try to see the big picture and look how we could have avoided these problems ourselves. The consequences we have are for our benefit. Live and learn, live and lean. Even a mouse will stop hitting the button after enough shocks. So live life like a mouse, stop hitting the button if you know that it’s bad for you, and if you still want to hit the button knowing what it is, don’t complain when it shocks you.

3. There are other things in life than “bad feeling things” to focus on all of the time. “Take it from a veteran.” I’ve always believed that we spend most of our lives above water, but sometimes we have to go diving in the deep end, simply put, life is mostly happiness with short bursts of misery. This is the better way.

4. People are people, not objects that we use in our own personal life to get what we want. Just because a person does not do exactly as we wanted them to do does not mean that they are bad people or “stupid.” Stop being immature and realize that people make mistakes. We have to learn to forgive them. The world does not spin faster for you then it does for anyone else. You don’t have to worry about never having enough time, there’s always time. If someone gets you mad enough that you don’t want to talk to them then make sure you do talk to them. They can’t fix what is wrong if you never take the time of day to talk to them and tell them what is wrong. The silent treatment is not good, do not attempt this. It will only make you seem like a jerk, and give the person you are disliking reason to dislike you back. It’s this whole web of turmoil that gets spun, because some people believe that people are just items that you can place on the shelf behind their other items to try and hide them from view. This is not true. The human being is not a fixed item. It has the ability to move, develop and think for itself. It can make it’s own choices, and while these choices may have negative consequences that you do not like, you have to be forgiving. Chances are you have screwed up too, but someone was there to forgive you and give you that umpteenth chance. None of us are perfect, so while you’re busy thinking you are living this life correctly and that it is ok for you to be so judgemental of everyone who does not see eye to eye with you on how the world should run then just realize that there are other people putting up with you, so the least you can do is try to put up with them as well. (NOTE: I am not saying that people will change to meet your expectations all the time. Keep an open mind that they have their own needs.)

5. Have fun.

The new hit single from the the forgotten songstress, Carol King!

i liked the opening–(is this just a random post, or rather a reprisal to the thick layer of melancholy floating on the surface of” waterblogged!”?)

good message–probably won’t do any good though. even though im sure we all understand and agree with you, the inevitable short term memory loss incurs itself and the self-hungry ego golem wakes up in most of us.

either that or we just crybaby all day.

    i propose a new way.

    “just do it” —

oh yeah guys, did i say i just got a job at nike?

I just read your previous post after reading this one. I couldn’t help but noticed you shot down my little outlook on life. That’s ok. For such an optimistic person you sure do have a tombstone for an icon. Who are you by the way.
