Dude, I would appeal the shit out of that. Don’t you have MEO or something. You really can’t get in any more trouble for appealing something like this and if it went exactly as you explained I would think you have a case. About the “Tyrone” comment, you’re probably right. You don’t want to be a white guy on a biased ship. Especially this one… Home sweet hell. There’s a lot of injustices that go on unchecked in this place. I can name several instances where officers tore up the town and it got swept under. I can name an incident right now where someone was assaulted, racially explicit remarks were made while he was on the bus.. Pending, but rumor is they tried to sweep that one under too. Perpetrator just happens NOT to be white. A certain Senior Chief thought that if he could muster up a simple “Apology”, everything would be fine and dandy. Mind you, we had a guy go to Captains Mast and get put on restriction for saying “Wigger” to a guy walking down the pier with his pants around his ass. On top of that, it was all second hand info that got the guy in trouble, the “he said, she said” thing. Regardless, let’s see if this guy gets off with a slap on the wrist.

Take this B.S. in stride and just think about the people who really care about you and are counting on you. Maybe someday you will be in a position to stop something like this from happening. Till then, let’s just wait to transfer from this nightmare…

no, but the chances of winning when you take on the “man” is slim to none. My suspended bus means that if I get in any trouble at all in the next 6 months I go from E-5 to E-4.
