Alright, time for a little bit of an update.

I have started my third week of work this summer and I am loving it.  (Bah da buh da daaa)

For those of you who are unaware of what I am doing, I will explain.  I am a Health Councilor for a camp for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints called Especially For Youth or EFY.  I have a partner that is a registered nurse and she is really funny.  The rest of the team that I work with is pretty cool as well.  Each new week we get a new session director that interacts with the kids, so it is always fun to get to meet them.  My partner and I are pretty much in charge of the well being of the kids that come to the camps, so we deal with things as small as Band-Aids to things as big as congenital heart failure.  Each Sunday night we get a list of the big problem kids that we are supposed to pay extra special attention to and my partner and I get on the internet and look up what we need to do in case of emergencies with it.  It is a lot of fun, it is like playing Clue or something….Anyways, we don’t really stay super busy with health problems all the time so we get to just hang out and have fun with the kids mostly.  It is pretty dulce.  I get to use my EMT training, teach dancing and play guitar with the kids, but it still gets stressful at times.  It is definitely worth it though.

I was talking with this girl the other day and she really surprised me and just started asking all of these fairly deep questions.  Like, not the normal questions that one would start out with as far as first conversations go.  Looking back on it now, what surprises me most about it is how open I was.  It was just kind of a neat thing.  I usually stay quiet and reserved around new people that I don’t know, but she drew some heavy stuff out of me.  I don’t really know what to make of it.  No, I am not trying to say that I found my soul mate or anything, but I think that is one of the reasons why I opened up so well, because I knew that there was pretty much no chance that the two of us could ever hook up, which is no problem with me, I would rather just be friends.  It just seems to me that that is not always how it works.  I wish that it was always like that.

Well, I don’t want to create a super long post, so this is goodbye, have a great summer everyone.

I’m really really fond of Sean’s updates. He seems to be doing something new every week.

Where are you in Utah, exactly?
