It reallys sucks and it has just begun. I’m getting too frustrated by typing so I will advise more later. No pictures yet though.
I left for work at 0630 and by 0645 my little red homie was bleedin out on the street. So, story…
I tried to take a different route to work because trafic ahead was looking rough. I took the turn thinking I knew where I was going. I took a few turns and before I knew it I was headed back towards the base on the same road I came in on. Only I didn’t know that until I was riding back in the police van. I wasn’t speeding, I was’nt being risky at all. It was a complete accident. I saw the light and it was green but i was about a block off. Japanese trafic signals change fast. The next thing I knew there was a small bodied van pulling across the intersection. I’ve driven on the right side of the road my whole life so needless to say, naturaly I swerved right. Right. Right into his front bumper with tires screaming. I was down to about 30-25K (about 18-15mph) but he was still accelerating. It crushed the left front bumper and head light. (I could have repaired the car until the second wreck) We sat still for a second then he hit me again just behind the left door leaving a huge dent and bounced off right into my back bumper and left rear tail light. They claim his foot was stuck on the gas pedal. Maybe so I dont know. I saw him today and his foot is pretty swolen. No fluids leaked out off his car. He drove it off the road. Mine still started and drove but not strait. So I had to let it go. Really sucks. I am at fault and that sucks. I just hope the man doesnt press charges. I visited him today to say sorry.
When I junked my car, as soon as i signed the papers they started yanking parts off of it. cool air intake, rims, gages, speakers (anything aftermaket, not broken) That was painfull to watch.
I dont know if court will follow so I will keep you updated. People dont reallise that because I’m in the military I cant just call out. I may be underway if or when they schedule it. So if I am not myself latly and you notice, it is stress, dont let me get you down.

So physicaly Im fine, My knees hurt but they always do.
Mentally: stressed more so than usual, Japanese laws are hard to explain but I am in a real bind right now.
Spirtualy: Indefinate, but that hasn’t changed for a while.

Before you go to court you need to play Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It is an accurate depiction of Japanese courts. This really sucks dude. I’m glad your not really hurt.

It’s like the time we all found out that billy has terminal cancer, and his mom told us all not to tell him, so he wouldn’t worry about it.
I think if you have to go to court, you should do everything in your power to have an opening song played as you enter the court, preferrably something by the Presidents of the United states of America (a legitimite band, I discovered, while In england). Their Karate couldn;t even save them, then.
But seriously, at least you’re not dead. Things can usually be worse (It;s hard to imagine in Billy’s scenario, however).
