I wanted to post my heartfelt thanks to everybody who stopped by my house today to check on my family and me. My parents were too stressed at the time (with good reason) to probably really say so, but it meant so much to them that people came by to help. It was really comforting to me to know I have people I can count on in times like this, so thank you. (And of course, a special shout out to Marc Berg if he reads this, who carried our cat in a box for several blocks to where my car was parked.)
Thank you thank you thank you, and I hope all of you and your families are safe and well.

Thanks, Jeremiah. =D By the way, you had excellent timing… it was good to have someone I knew there right when I got there. Joie World is a little freaked out, but still pretty good.
Sean, there was a tornado in Prattville yesterday that went through my neighborhood, Overlook. From what I know, it went through Teri Lane (my street), Sheila Blvd., Tara… not completely sure exactly where. But I know Brittney’s family’s Sears store was hit, and that the area around the intersection of McQueen Smith Rd. and Cobbs Ford got a pretty good hit as well. The amazing thing is that no one was killed, fortunately.
