Last night I got paid and felt like getting out of the house for a much needed change so I went out to some of the popular clubs around base.  I hooked up with some friends and I was buying them drinks because I couldnt drink because I was driving. I offered them a ride back to there barracks on base. That was the primise. Now it begins.

I pulled my car arround to the front of the bar and went in to get them. They were drinking and of course delaying the hell out of everything so it took forever to get back outside.  When I got back outside I had a parking ticket on my windshield. In the states we dont think anything of it. we just go with it because it will probably only be about 20-30 doll hairs. Well in Japan the crime rate is very low, greatly because violations are heavily fined. So  I didnt know how much it was going to be but it got me stressed as fuck.  So I peal that shit off and we all get in. I decided I would go ahead and take them home before I settle the ticket I got stopped at the gate because the MA smelled alcohol, of course the other people in the car were drinking. They made me shut off the engine. Blow a breathilizer, then they ran my registration, and questioned me to death, at 3 in the morning mind you. After this my stress was peeking. I dropped them off and then headed to the Kuban (Japanese police Box, ministation) we i got there it took the officer about 20-30 min. to get there but that was’nt where i was supposed to take the ticket. I had to follow him on his scooter in my car to the big station. Then I parked in a police only spot and he made me move. I was nervious and screwed up driving right in front of a japanese police station in front of about 3 officers. I had a flash back and drove on the right side of the road turning around. Probably didnt look good at all. They all spoke little to no english. all I really got out of it was that the ticket cost me 15000Y. so around $150 for a parking ticket, and a thoroughly ruined night. I got home about 4 and colapsed.
