I recently came to the realization that “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and “No One like you” by the Scorpions are actually the same song. I suspected this last summer, whilst listening to the radio with Brandon, but he claimed ignorance on the matter. Please listen to see what I mean.

Scorpions - Same Damn Song (I have the divided the two songs amongst the right and left channels, so If you are listening in Mono then you may not be able to hear to what I refer)

I had to scale both of the songs to the same Key. So there are some strange pitch variations in the vocals, of course. And the tracks don’t perfectly match up, but there composition differs by only 4 measures (the 1st chorus in No One like you is twice as long as Rock you Like a Hurricane). other than that, the compositions are seemingly identical.

Not as bad as Nickelback, i suppose. At least i like the scorpions songs. Please Listen to the Nickelback track below to see what I mean.

NickelBackSux (Like the one above, stereo playback may be necessary)

The composition actually is identical. I didn’t even have to scale the tracks, slow ‘em down or anything.

Thank you again, Nickleback.

Wow, I completely overlooked this post. This is very interesting with the Scorpions. I think I heard that Nickelback one. Maybe that is why I always get those two songs mixed up. If you want to hear something really creepy, listen to Michael Jackson’s “Bad,” on the right speaker and “Smooth Criminal,” on the left. Whoa!
