These are my first two recordings so dont be too harsh.  Keep in mind that these are simply jam sessions. They are not multitracks and they have not been edited at all. Mistakes galore and its pretty repetitive. I dont advise listening to the whole files. The sound quality isn’t very good either so I apologize. hammer-2.wma  spunk-1.wma

Yeah, I like hammer a lot, very justin chancellor, very tool, (sorry to compare you to other people/bands). Cool If i take that bass line, re-record it on my end and trhow some other tracks in their? I may have to alter some of the later stuff, and the like. Not like im doing this anytime soon, I dont even have a bass.

Spunk, though you may not realize it, is very similar to ‘blister in the sun’, by the violent femmes. A song I like that song and spunk , but I hate it when i write a song/riff that sounds like someone elses, so I thought you should know.

You should save as .mp3, .wma is just homo and incompatible with msot programs.

Good work, cody. Please continue to play, write, and record. We dont have enough musicians here. It inspires me to keep up with ze moozik.

    don’t you mean. . . “mistakes galore”?

I did note the tool influence and also enjoyed hammer. it went well with my reading– a crappy graphic novel called 30 days of night. it’s really crappy, btw.

And i was going to suggest a collabo with xack. so there’s that. do it.

wasn’t a huge fan of spunk. however, i urge, URGE, you to keep performing. i lurve it.

I enjoyed spunk-1 more than hammer-2, but I agree with the criticisms that they sound familiar. I would suggest, if I may, a saxophone.

It’s a great pleasure to have friends with creative endeavors, especially ones that share.

You who does a great saxophone? Dave mathews band. Pretty good rendition of the watch tower.
