Seeing as how it is thanksgiving or the day of “thanks” I feel compelled to mention something that i am thankful for and that is friends. It has recently been brought to my attention that I tend to display an unappreciative behavior toward a few of my companions and carry with me an aire of disrespect towards them. WAKE UP CALL…i am not perfect, ouch, yes i was indeed humbled, much like the cocky bastard that sits behind you in class, you know the one, he has expectations higher than God and never fails to mention how much smarter he is than you and how HIS test grades are far more superior than yours…or else they were, then the professor slams that first test down on his desk and BAM! 42..F! that look of horror then disguist sweeps over his face like his whole world has been taken apart piece by piece by the little monster who sits on YOUR shoulder, oh and you, yes you… made the A, sweet day. yes i feel humbled in that sort of way and for that i am grateful. And on this thanksgiving day I would like to give thanks to my friends, the people who you deem cool enough to hang out with and they in return feel sympathy in times of last minute need or just need. hey, what are friends for if they wont be the first to tell you what a JERK you are being, huh?

Wow, your post came as a surprise, like the fiddler..on de’ roof (for the first time and you don’t even know who the guy is and he just starts dancing and fiddling away on your roof). Anyway, I was surprised cause I was writing my entry and when I posted it I didn’t bother to read it. Consequently, I never scrolled down far enough to see that you had posted just before me.
Now for an actual comment: What a level of near blasphemous asperity! Hell hath no fury like a pirate scorned, apparently. You sound like freakin’ Robin, especially with that "piece by piece" bit.

I can assure you, I am not he. If I were to guess (in order of my suspicion): Billy, Stephen,. . .Jeremiah? I’m just grasping at straws. But! confuse me not with a pirate, lad, for pirates announce themselves before the plunder, and I, I!, pillage behind backs and pilfer in the shadows. Pretty good, huh? Plunder, pillage, pilfer; who knew there were so many words meaning to steal that started with "p"!

Procure, purloin, pinch.
Spoil, despoil, spoliate = also interesting.

Pocket.
Also, saw the latest Strong Bad. He quotes a question and omits the question mark to allow him to continue the sentence, is this punctually legal?

You’d have to show me what and how he did and how he did it.

Actually, I think I see what he did. But what about when you’re shortening words like etc.? I mean, is it ok to omit a final period on the sentence if it is already part of the shortening? For example:
I like sex, etc. or I like sex, etc..
Eh?
Thanks again,
