i absolutely loved robin’s photo-post. i feel like i should make one, but what would i take pictures of?
and if i get any shower comments from steve, i will pretend to be surprised.
seems a lot of people are tying the knot these days. i heard through the grapevine that a girl i graduated with recently got married and is now pregnant (brittany carmichael who married..daniel bray interestingly enough).
mostly it just scares the shit out of me. i mean i might be willing to flaunt some bling on my finger for a while, but i have another year until i finish college, and then i have to intern next summer..although that isn’t so very far away. i don’t know. i keep looking at myself with my little calendar in my bag and my checks and bills and stuff and think “wow, i am sort of grown up.” and then i think that my parents were around my age when they set out on their first marriages (although both failed miserably..my mom was actually married to billy’s uncle or something). its bananaz.
but i am happy with where things are moving…very slowly…right now in my life. five years from now things will be very different, so i am enjoying still being an unwed un-knock-up-able hailey sherrill.
and everyone should watch 30rock on nbc.

How many goddamn times do I have to tell you that wasn’t my uncle. There are lot’s of people in Alabama, the US, and the world who have the same last name as me but are not of direct relation to me.

robin-my current favorite quote is either “live every week like it is shark week and nothing is impossible except for dinosaurs.” or “the mento has become the manatee” (which, knowing the plot, is tracey morgan trying to express his pride that his mentee, kenneth, has become his mentor). also..you should go on nbc.com and watch the “source awards” episode. best ever. bar none.
